He brought them to the border of his holy land, to this land of hills he had won for them.

維彼選民、導至聖地、將得斯山、以為恆業兮、

引之至己之聖境、至己右手所建之山、

乃經邊疆。乃抵畿封。原壤高敞。聖意所鍾。

And so he brought them to the border of his holy land, to the hill country his right hand had taken.

And so he brought his people to the border of his holy land. He led them to the central hill country he had taken by his power.

And he brought them to his holy land, to the mountain which his right hand had won.

He brought them to his holy territory, to the mountain his right hand acquired.

So He brought them to His holy land, To this hill country which His right hand had gained.

And He brought them to His holy border, This mountain which His right hand had acquired.

And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, To this mountain, which his right hand had gotten.

He brought them to His holy land, to the mountain His right hand acquired.

And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary,[ even to] this mountain,[ which] his right hand had purchased.

He brought them to the border of his holy land, to this mountainous land which his right hand acquired.

You will bring them in and plant them on your own mountain— the place, O Lord, reserved for your own dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, that your hands have established.

They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.

Why do you look with envy, O rugged mountains, at Mount Zion, where God has chosen to live, where the Lord himself will live forever?

The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

Nothing will hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, for as the waters fill the sea, so the earth will be filled with people who know the Lord.

He will stop between the glorious holy mountain and the sea and will pitch his royal tents. But while he is there, his time will suddenly run out, and no one will help him.

“ With your unfailing love you lead the people you have redeemed. In your might, you guide them to your sacred home.

In view of all your faithful mercies, Lord, please turn your furious anger away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain. All the neighboring nations mock Jerusalem and your people because of our sins and the sins of our ancestors.“ O our God, hear your servant’s prayer! Listen as I plead. For your own sake, Lord, smile again on your desolate sanctuary.“ O my God, lean down and listen to me. Open your eyes and see our despair. See how your city— the city that bears your name— lies in ruins. We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of your mercy.“ O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people and your city bear your name.”I went on praying and confessing my sin and the sin of my people, pleading with the Lord my God for Jerusalem, his holy mountain.
