Then I thought,“ To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand.

我便说：“这是我的懦弱，但我要追念至高者显出右手之年代。”

我说，至高者右手的能力已改变，这是我的悲哀。

我说，至高者右手的能力已改变，这是我的悲哀。

于是我说：“我感到悲伤的是，至高者已不再彰显大能。”

因此我说：“这是我的忧伤：至高者的右手已经改变了（“至高者的右手已经改变了”或译：“但我要追念至高者显出右手的年代”）！”

我就说：“我痛心的是：至高者右手的能力变了。”

我便說：這是我的懦弱，但我要追念至高者顯出右手之年代。

我說，至高者右手的能力已改變，這是我的悲哀。

我說，至高者右手的能力已改變，這是我的悲哀。

於是我說：「我感到悲傷的是，至高者已不再彰顯大能。」

我便說：『這是我的弱點：以為至高者的右手權能改變了！』

我就說：「我痛心的是：至高者右手的能力變了。」

我曰、此乃我之懦弱、至上者伸右手之年、我宜念之兮、

予也返躬自思、知頃所言、反以自害兮、至上之主、在昔所為、余必思維兮、

我又云、我之災難、今雖如此、而更變苦境、仍在至上主之右手、

聖心詎能變。忘慈而懷怒。

Then I thought,“ Here is what gives me hope. For many years the Most High God showed how powerful he is.

Then I said,“ I will appeal to this, to the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

And I said,“ This is my fate; the Most High has turned his hand against me.”

So I say,“ I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”

Then I said,“ It is my grief, That the right hand of the Most High has changed.”

And I said,“ This is my anguish; But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

And I said, This is my infirmity; But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.

So I say,“ I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”

And I said, This[ is] my infirmity:[ but I will remember] the years of the right hand of the most High.

Then I said,“ I am sickened by the thought that the sovereign One might become inactive.

Then I thought,“ I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

In my alarm I said,“ I am cut off from your sight!” Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help.

Your right hand, Lord, was majestic in power. Your right hand, Lord, shattered the enemy.

You asked,‘ Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.

Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed,“ I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

So I say,“ My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the Lord.”I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall.I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me.Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth.His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden.Plague went before him; pestilence followed his steps.He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled and the age- old hills collapsed— but he marches on forever.I saw the tents of Cushan in distress, the dwellings of Midian in anguish.Were you angry with the rivers, Lord? Was your wrath against the streams? Did you rage against the sea when you rode your horses and your chariots to victory?You uncovered your bow, you called for many arrows. You split the earth with rivers;the mountains saw you and writhed. Torrents of water swept by; the deep roared and lifted its waves on high.Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear.In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations.You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot.

Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

“ No misfortune is seen in Jacob, no misery observed in Israel. The Lord their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them.God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox.

in my alarm I said,“ Everyone is a liar.”

I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you.

I thought about the former days, the years of long ago;
