爾曹當向主爾之天主許願償願、周圍之人、皆當向可畏之主、供獻禮物、

世人之恚憤。適足成主榮。願將其餘怒。化為救世音。

Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared.

When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. And do not protest to the temple messenger,“ My vow was a mistake.” Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands? (niv)

Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed: (niv)

So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.Many brought offerings to Jerusalem for the Lord and valuable gifts for Hezekiah king of Judah. From then on he was highly regarded by all the nations. (niv)
