你們許願，總要向耶和華你們的神償還；所有在他周圍的人，都要把貢物帶來獻給那可敬畏的神。

世人之恚憤。適足成主榮。願將其餘怒。化為救世音。

Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared.

Make promises to the Lord your God and keep them. Let all the neighboring nations bring gifts to the God who should be respected.

你要以感謝為祭獻給神，又要向至高者還你的願。

因為你在耶路撒冷的聖殿，眾王都把禮物帶來獻給你。

你向神許了願，就不可遲遲不還，因為他不喜悅愚昧人；所許的願必須償還。許願不還，不如不許。不可任你的口使自己犯罪，也不可在使者前面說是許錯了。何必使神因你的聲音發怒，破壞你手中的工作呢？

在聖者的議會中，神是令人驚懼的，比一切在他周圍的都更為可畏。

如果不是我父親的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒所敬畏的神，與我同在，你現在必定打發我空手回去。但神看見了我的苦情和我手中的辛勞，所以他昨天晚上責備了你。”

每年三次，就是在除酵節、七七節、住棚節，你所有的男丁都要在耶和華選擇的地方，朝見耶和華你的神；但不可空手朝見耶和華。

如果人向耶和華許願，或是起誓要約束自己，就不可食言，總要照著自己口裡所出的一切話行。

這樣，耶和華拯救了希西家和耶路撒冷的居民，脫離了亞述王西拿基立的手，和其他仇敵的手，又使他們四境平安。有很多人把供物帶到耶路撒冷獻給耶和華，又把很多寶物送給猶大王希西家；從此，希西家受到各國的尊重。

我曾起誓，並且堅守誓言，我必遵守你公義的典章。
