For in the hand of the LORD[ there is] a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring[ them] out,[ and] drink[ them].

耶和華執爵、酒味殊烈、調劑甚厚、主斟之出、俾天下惡人、啜其渣滓兮。

主手持杯、滿斟醲酒、酒沫外溢、將酒傾出、使地上惡人、吸盡渣滓、

In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.

In the hand of the Lord is a cup. It is full of wine mixed with spices. It is the wine of his anger. He pours it out. All the evil people on earth drink it down to the very last drop.

For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.

His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest:[ this shall be] the portion of their cup.

For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive[ his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.

Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

Woe unto[ them that are] mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

Then took I the cup at the LORD’S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:

Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling,[ and] wrung[ them] out.

Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God[ that] pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling,[ even] the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full[ cup] are wrung out to them.
