For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.

因为高举非从东，非从西，也非从南而来。

人的尊贵不是来自东方，不是来自西方，也不是来自旷野。

高升不是从东面来，不是从西面来，也不是旷野来，

因为人被高举不是来自东面或西面，也不是来自旷野；

因為高舉非從東，非從西，也非從南而來。

因為高舉非從東，非從西，也非從南而來。

因為高舉非從東，非從西，也非從南而來。

人的尊貴不是來自東方，不是來自西方，也不是來自曠野。

高升不是從東面來，不是從西面來，也不是曠野來，

因為不是從東或從西，不是從曠野或從山嶺；

因為人被高舉不是來自東面或西面，也不是來自曠野；

扶助之來、非自東、非自西、非自曠野兮、

使人顯達者、非由東、非由西、亦非由南、

尊榮非從東來、非從西來、亦非從曠野而至、

毋巉爾頭角。毋矜爾強項。

No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves.

No one from east or west or north or south can judge themselves.

For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up,

For no one on earth— from east or west, or even from the wilderness— should raise a defiant fist.

Exaltation does not come from the east, the west, or the desert,

For not from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the desert comes exaltation;

For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south.

For neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor yet from the south, cometh lifting up.

Exaltation does not come from the east, the west, or the desert,

For promotion[ cometh] neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

For victory does not come from the east or west, or from the wilderness.

But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
