我警告狂妄人不要再狂傲，告诫恶人不要再张狂。

我对狂傲的人说：‘不要行事狂傲’；对邪恶的人说：‘不要举角，

我对夸耀的人说：‘不要夸耀！’又对恶人说：‘不要高举你们的角！

我對狂傲人說：不要行事狂傲！對凶惡人說：不要舉角！

我對狂傲的人說：「不要狂傲！」對兇惡的人說：「不要舉角！」

我對狂傲的人說：「不要狂傲！」對兇惡的人說：「不要舉角！」

我謂傲慢者曰、勿傲慢、謂奸惡者曰、勿昂角、

余有言詞、告彼惡人、謂毋誕妄爾行、謂毋崢嶸爾角、

我告狂傲人曰、爾莫狂傲、告邪惡人曰、爾莫昂首、昂首原文作舉角

大地鼎沸。生靈塗炭。作之棟梁。以支危難。

To the arrogant I say,‘ Boast no more,’ and to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up your horns.

To the proud I say,‘ Don’t brag anymore.’ To sinners I say,‘ Don’t show off your power.

I say to the boastful,‘ Do not boast,’ and to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up your horn;

“ I warned the proud,‘ Stop your boasting!’ I told the wicked,‘ Don’t raise your fists!

I say to the boastful,‘ Do not boast,’ and to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up your horn.

I said to the boastful,‘ Do not boast,’ And to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up the horn;

I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly; And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

I say to the boastful,‘ Do not boast,’ and to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up your horn.

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

I say to the proud,“ Do not be proud,” and to the wicked,“ Do not be so confident of victory!

I said to the arrogant,“ Don’t boast!” I said to the wicked,“ Don’t lift up the horn.

And I said,“ What are these coming to do?” So he said,“ These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one could lift up his head; but the craftsmen are coming to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.”

How long will you judge unjustly, And show partiality to the wicked? SelahDefend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable.I said,“ You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.But you shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes.”Arise, O God, judge the earth; For You shall inherit all nations.

And He has exalted the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints— Of the children of Israel, A people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

and the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.“ I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them,

“ How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.

O you simple ones, understand prudence, And you fools, be of an understanding heart.

Understand, you senseless among the people; And you fools, when will you be wise?

Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding.

For You are the glory of their strength, And in Your favor our horn is exalted.
