To the arrogant I say,‘ Boast no more,’ and to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up your horns.

我警告狂妄人不要再狂傲，告诫恶人不要再张狂。

我对狂傲的人说：‘不要行事狂傲’；对邪恶的人说：‘不要举角，

我对夸耀的人说：‘不要夸耀！’又对恶人说：‘不要高举你们的角！

我對狂傲人說：不要行事狂傲！對凶惡人說：不要舉角！

我對狂傲的人說：「不要狂傲！」對兇惡的人說：「不要舉角！」

我對狂傲的人說：「不要狂傲！」對兇惡的人說：「不要舉角！」

我警告狂妄人不要再狂傲，告誡惡人不要再張狂。

我對狂傲的人說：‘不要行事狂傲’；對邪惡的人說：‘不要舉角，

我對狂傲人說：『不要狂妄傲慢』；對邪惡人說：『不要昂首舉角；

我對誇耀的人說：『不要誇耀！』又對惡人說：『不要高舉你們的角！

我謂傲慢者曰、勿傲慢、謂奸惡者曰、勿昂角、

余有言詞、告彼惡人、謂毋誕妄爾行、謂毋崢嶸爾角、

我告狂傲人曰、爾莫狂傲、告邪惡人曰、爾莫昂首、昂首原文作舉角

大地鼎沸。生靈塗炭。作之棟梁。以支危難。

To the proud I say,‘ Don’t brag anymore.’ To sinners I say,‘ Don’t show off your power.

I say to the boastful,‘ Do not boast,’ and to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up your horn;

“ I warned the proud,‘ Stop your boasting!’ I told the wicked,‘ Don’t raise your fists!

I say to the boastful,‘ Do not boast,’ and to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up your horn.

I said to the boastful,‘ Do not boast,’ And to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up the horn;

“ I said to the boastful,‘ Do not deal boastfully,’ And to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up the horn.

I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly; And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

I say to the boastful,‘ Do not boast,’ and to the wicked,‘ Do not lift up your horn.

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

I say to the proud,“ Do not be proud,” and to the wicked,“ Do not be so confident of victory!

I said to the arrogant,“ Don’t boast!” I said to the wicked,“ Don’t lift up the horn.

I asked,“ What are these coming to do?” He answered,“ These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise their head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people.”

“ How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked?Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.“ The‘ gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.“ I said,‘ You are“ gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’But you will die like mere mortals; you will fall like every other ruler.”Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.

And he has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his faithful servants, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the Lord.

I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell— the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully.As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them,

“ How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?

You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it.

Take notice, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise?

Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of insight.”

For you are their glory and strength, and by your favor you exalt our horn.
