We are given no signs from God; no prophets are left, and none of us knows how long this will be.

孺子撒母耳、在以利前、奉事耶和華。是時耶和華罕以言示人、不恆顯其異象。

主耶和華又曰、時日將至、必使斯土之民、如饑如渴、非欲食餅飲水、乃慕耶和華之道、

耶和華以大能導爾曹出埃及、故其法律、必述於爾口、錄於爾手、服於爾顙、誌之勿失。每年屆期、必守此禮。

惟汝室以血為徵、我見之、將逾越爾室、擊埃及時、災害不及爾身。

亦立我安息日、於我及彼之間為徵、俾知我乃耶和華、使之成聖。

曰如我蒙恩於爾前、請示以徵、則知爾誠諭我者也。

爾必遭昏夜、不睹光明、不見異象、不能占驗、日必沉西、晝變晦冥、以罰偽先知焉、

上帝自行其志、俾為異跡奇事妙用、賜以聖神、共證斯道、

邑門已墮門楗已折、王公牧伯、羈留於異邦、律例不講、維彼先知莫睹耶和華異象兮。

禍患風聞、絡繹而至、人求先知之默示、然祭司已無律例、長老已無智謀。
