For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Disregard this people’s stubbornness, and their wickedness and sin.

Is it not true my house is with God? For he has established a permanent covenant with me, ordered and secured in every detail. Will he not bring about my whole salvation and my every desire?

You have repudiated the covenant with your servant; you have completely dishonored his crown.

“ But when they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their ancestors— their unfaithfulness that they practiced against me, and how they acted with hostility toward me,and I acted with hostility toward them and brought them into the land of their enemies— and when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they make amends for their iniquity,then I will remember my covenant with Jacob. Moses took half the blood and set it in basins; the other half of the blood he splattered on the altar.He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey all that the LORD has commanded.”Moses took the blood, splattered it on the people, and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.”

He has dealt mercifully with our ancestors and remembered his holy covenant—the oath that he swore to our father Abraham, to grant that we,having been rescued from the hand of our enemies, would serve him without fearin holiness and righteousness in his presence all our days.
