敵人謗瀆主、頑民褻慢主名、求主莫忘、

蕩蕩天地主。竟遭彼無禮。蠻子瀆聖名。誰復能忍此。

Remember how the enemy has mocked you, Lord, how foolish people have reviled your name.

Lord, remember how your enemies have made fun of you. Remember how foolish people have attacked you with their words.

Remember this, O Lord, how the enemy scoffs, and a foolish people reviles your name.

See how these enemies insult you, Lord. A foolish nation has dishonored your name.

Remember this: the enemy has mocked the LORD, and a foolish people has insulted your name.

Remember this, Lord, that the enemy has taunted You, And a foolish people has treated Your name disrespectfully.

Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Lord, And that a foolish people has blasphemed Your name.

Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Jehovah, And that a foolish people hath blasphemed thy name.

Remember this: the enemy has mocked Yahweh, and a foolish people has insulted Your name.

Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, Yahweh. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.

Deliver me from all my sins of rebellion! Do not make me the object of fools’ insults!

The great city was split into three parts and the cities of the nations collapsed. So Babylon the great was remembered before God, and was given the cup filled with the wine made of God’s furious wrath.

Is this how you repay the LORD, you foolish, unwise people? Is he not your father, your creator? He has made you and established you.

I acted for the sake of my reputation, so that I would not be profaned before the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

Rise up, O judge of the earth! Pay back the proud!O LORD, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked celebrate?They spew out threats and speak defiantly; all the evildoers boast.O LORD, they crush your people; they oppress the nation that belongs to you.They kill the widow and the one residing outside his native land, and they murder the fatherless.Then they say,“ The LORD does not see this; the God of Jacob does not take notice of it.”Take notice of this, you ignorant people! You fools, when will you ever understand?

Whom have you taunted and hurled insults at? At whom have you shouted and looked so arrogantly? At the Holy One of Israel!Through your messengers you taunted the sovereign master,‘ With my many chariots I climbed up the high mountains, the slopes of Lebanon. I cut down its tall cedars and its best evergreens. I invaded its most remote regions, its thickest woods.

How blessed is the one who treats the poor properly! When trouble comes, the LORD delivers him.

Remember, O LORD, what the Edomites did on the day Jerusalem fell. They said,“ Tear it down, tear it down, right to its very foundation!”

Take note, O Lord, of the way your servants are taunted, and of how I must bear so many insults from people!Your enemies, O LORD, hurl insults; they insult your chosen king as they dog his footsteps.

I post watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they should keep praying all day and all night. You who pray to the LORD, don’t be silent!Don’t allow him to rest until he reestablishes Jerusalem, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.

But I fear the reaction of their enemies, for their adversaries would misunderstand and say,“ Our power is great, and the LORD has not done all this!”’

Rise up, O God! Defend your honor! Remember how fools insult you all day long!
