I have prayed for deliverance, because otherwise they will gloat over me; when my foot slips they will arrogantly taunt me.

Is my complaint against a man? If so, why should I not be impatient?

For calamity, there is derision( according to the ideas of the fortunate)– a fate for those whose feet slip!

As far as I am concerned, far be it from me to sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you! I will instruct you in the way that is good and upright.

But as for me, because of your great faithfulness I will enter your house; I will bow down toward your holy temple as I worship you.

David said to Solomon:“ My son, I really wanted to build a temple to honor the LORD my God.

But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?
