爾實置之於險地、委之於沉淪兮、

維彼惡人、雨置諸險滑之途、擲諸死亡之地兮、

主使之立於滑地、使之陷於沈淪、

欲論世間人。應觀其終局。小人處順境。所以成其戮。

Let their path be dark and slippery, while the angel of the Lord chases them.

They will be destroyed forever. They will be shut out of heaven. They will never see the glory of the Lord’s strength.

He will pay them back for their sins. He will destroy them for their evil acts. The Lord our God will destroy them.

I saw a mean and sinful person. He was doing well, like a green tree in its own land.But he soon passed away and was gone. Even though I looked for him, I couldn’t find him.Consider honest people who are without blame. People who seek peace will have a tomorrow.But all sinners will be destroyed. Those who are evil won’t have a tomorrow.

So their path will become slippery. They will be thrown out into darkness. There they will fall. I will bring trouble on them when the time to punish them comes,” announces the Lord.

Those who are evil spring up like grass. Those who do wrong succeed. But they will be destroyed forever.

I punish people. I will pay them back. The time will come when their feet will slip. Their day of trouble is near. Very soon they will be destroyed.”

But sinful people will die. The Lord’ s enemies may be like flowers in the field. But they will be swallowed up. They will disappear like smoke.

God, you will bring sinners down to the grave. Murderers and liars won’t live out even half of their lives. But I trust in you.
