When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

For he shall be delivered up unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon:and they shall scourge and kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.And they understood none of these things; and this saying was hid from them, and they perceived not the things that were said.

They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? We know not what he saith.Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me?

Surely every man walketh in a vain show; Surely they are disquieted in vain: He heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

Clouds and darkness are round about him: Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Jehovah, thou preservest man and beast.

Thy way was in the sea, And thy paths in the great waters, And thy footsteps were not known.

Surely I am more brutish than any man, And have not the understanding of a man;And I have not learned wisdom, Neither have I the knowledge of the Holy One.
