For you are my hope, Lord Yahweh, my confidence from my youth.

主耶和华啊，你是我所盼望的；从我年幼，你是我所倚靠的。

因为你是我的盼望；主耶和华啊！你是我自幼以来所倚靠的。

因为你是我的希望！主耶和华啊，自幼以来你就是我的依赖！

主耶和華歟、爾為我望、我自幼冲、惟爾是恃兮、

余自孩提、惟主耶和華是望兮。

我所仰望者惟有主、主天主歟、我自幼時、即倚恃主、

主乃我之望。自幼所依恃。

For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth.

You are the King and the Lord. You have always been my hope. I have trusted in you ever since I was young.

For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O Lord, from my youth.

O Lord, you alone are my hope. I’ve trusted you, O Lord, from childhood.

For you are my hope, Lord GOD, my confidence from my youth.

For You are my hope; Lord God, You are my confidence from my youth.

For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth.

For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah: Thou art my trust from my youth.

For You are my hope, Lord God, my confidence from my youth.

For thou[ art] my hope, O Lord GOD:[ thou art] my trust from my youth.

For you give me confidence, O Lord; O LORD, I have trusted in you since I was young.

“ Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh.

My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word.

Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.

God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.

Don’t be a terror to me. You are my refuge in the day of evil.

I have hoped for your salvation, Yahweh. I have done your commandments.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin; but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of Armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.Today, Yahweh will deliver you into my hand. I will strike you, and take your head from off you. I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines today to the birds of the sky, and to the wild animals of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,and that all this assembly may know that Yahweh doesn’t save with sword and spear; for the battle is Yahweh’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the middle of his brothers. Then Yahweh’s Spirit came mightily on David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

Saul said to David,“ You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.”David said to Saul,“ Your servant was keeping his father’s sheep; and when a lion or a bear came, and took a lamb out of the flock,I went out after him, and struck him, and rescued it out of his mouth. When he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and struck him, and killed him.Your servant struck both the lion and the bear. This uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, since he has defied the armies of the living God.”David said,“ Yahweh who delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.” Saul said to David,“ Go! Yahweh will be with you.”

You hope of Israel, its Savior in the time of trouble, why should you be as a foreigner in the land, and as a wayfaring man who turns aside to stay for a night?

But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.

Yahweh, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be disappointed. Those who depart from me will be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Yahweh, the spring of living waters.

From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.

But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts.I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The child was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.

All who found them have devoured them. Their adversaries said,‘ We are not guilty, because they have sinned against Yahweh, the habitation of righteousness, even Yahweh, the hope of their fathers.’

Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw near, when you will say,“ I have no pleasure in them;”
