上帝兮、仇敵攻予、望爾援手、護衛我兮、惡人欲殺予、爾其拯救兮、

亞希多弗告押沙龍曰、我欲簡兵一萬二千、夤夜以行、追襲大闢、乘其困乏喪膽、我必涖臨、使彼戰慄、侍從必遁、我擊其王。

願爾護我、若守眸子、願爾翼我、若鳥伏雛。勿受惡人之虐遇兮、勿遭勁敵之環攻、

耶和華兮、勃然而興、突如其來兮、譴彼災祲加之以利刃兮、救我於敵人、

耶和華兮、惡黨強迫予、爾其救予兮、彼謀不軌、恆集戰鬥兮、其舌甚利若蛇、其唇藏毒若蝮兮。耶和華兮、強暴之人、欲俾予隕越、爾其拯余兮、

對曰、爾父留妃以守宮闈、爾與偕寢、以色列族中知爾為父所憾、必協力助爾。有人張幕於宮巔、押沙龍遂御嬪妃、以色列族中無不知之。

其後二人自井出、往告大闢王、曰、亞希多弗所議若此、爾當速起濟河。

彼之所在、勿論何方、我必涖至、如露之降、徧於土壤、使彼及臣僕、靡有孑遺。如彼入城、以色列族眾、必攜繩至、曳城入河、卷石靡遺。押沙龍及以色列族眾曰、亞其人戶篩之議、較亞希多弗尤善。蓋耶和華欲廢亞希多弗議、以敗押沙龍。
