神哪，縱然到我年老髮白的時候，你也不要離棄我，直到我向這世代宣告你的能力，向後世所有的人宣告你的大能！

上帝歟、我老年皓首時、勿遺棄我、俟我宣爾力於後世、述爾能於來者兮、

今我年邁、皓然白首、毋我遐棄、我將以爾能力、訓誨斯世、爰及後人兮、

我至年老髮白之時、求天主仍莫遐棄我、我將以主之大力、傳揚於來世、以主之大能、指示將生在世之人、

白髮莫相違。俾竟平生志。綦願將大德。宣示我後裔。

Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.

God, don’t leave me even when I’m old and have gray hair. Let me live to tell my children about your power. Let me tell all of them about your mighty acts.

So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.

Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation, your mighty miracles to all who come after me.

Even while I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, while I proclaim your power to another generation, your strength to all who are to come.

And even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.

Even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me. Then I will proclaim Your power to another generation, Your strength to all who are to come.

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto[ this] generation,[ and] thy power to every one[ that] is to come.

Even when I am old and gray, O God, do not abandon me, until I tell the next generation about your strength, and those coming after me about your power.

Yes, even when I am old and gray- haired, God, don’t forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come.

Cast me not off in the time of old age; Forsake me not when my strength faileth.

and even to old age I am he, and even to hoar hairs will I carry you; I have made, and I will bear; yea, I will carry, and will deliver.

We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of Jehovah, And his strength, and his wondrous works that he hath done.

And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto Jehovah to be prince, and Zadok to be priest.Then Solomon sat on the throne of Jehovah as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.And Jehovah magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.Now David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the history of Samuel the seer, and in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the history of Gad the seer,with all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.

For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his elder son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Here am I.
