Bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure— you, the righteous God who probes minds and hearts.

God, you always do what is right. You look deep down inside the hearts and minds of people. Bring to an end the terrible things sinful people do. Make godly people safe.

They then escaped to the land of Ararat, and another son, Esarhaddon, became the next king of Assyria.

How long, O God, will you allow our enemies to insult you? Will you let them dishonor your name forever?Why do you hold back your strong right hand? Unleash your powerful fist and destroy them.
