LORD my God, if I have done this, if there is injustice on my hands,

永恆主我的上帝啊，我若行了這事，我手中若有不義，

耶和華我的神哪，如果我做了這事，如果我的手中有不義，

我上帝耶和華歟、我若行此、我手若有不義、

我之上帝耶和華兮、曷敢維惡是作、彼夫夙昔交厚兮、待之薄、無因仇我兮、報之酷、吾而有是兮、

主我之天主歟、我若行此、我手中若有不義之事、

彼人兇如獅。吞我心方快。除主復何恃。不救吾其殆。

Lord my God, if I have done this and there is guilt on my hands—

Lord my God, suppose I have done something wrong. Suppose I am guilty.

O Lord my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands,

O LORD my God, if I have done what they say, or am guilty of unjust actions,

Yahweh, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands,

Look, my father! Look at the corner of your robe in my hand, for I cut it off, but I didn’t kill you. Recognize that I’ve committed no crime or rebellion. I haven’t sinned against you even though you are hunting me down to take my life.

Shimei said as he cursed,“ Get out, get out, you man of bloodshed, you wicked man!The LORD has paid you back for all the blood of the house of Saul in whose place you became king, and the LORD has handed the kingdom over to your son Absalom. Because look, LORD, they set an ambush for me. Powerful men attack me, but not because of any sin or rebellion of mine.

If I had been aware of malice in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

if there is iniquity in your hand, remove it, and don’t allow injustice to dwell in your tents—

Deal kindly with your servant, for you have brought me into a covenant with you before the LORD. If I have done anything wrong, then kill me yourself; why take me to your father?”

although my hands are free from violence and my prayer is pure.Earth, do not cover my blood; may my cry for help find no resting place.Even now my witness is in heaven, and my advocate is in the heights!

David said to Saul,“ Why do you listen to the words of people who say,‘ Look, David intends to harm you’?
