求你隨你的美意善待錫安，建造耶路撒冷的城牆。

卻使我僕人的話站得住，成就我使者的籌算。我論耶路撒冷說：『必有人居住』；論猶大的城鎮說：『必被建造，我必重建其中的廢墟。』

我使我的公義臨近，它已不遠。我的救恩必不遲延。我要為以色列－我的榮耀在錫安施行救恩。

因你的判斷，錫安山應當歡喜，猶大的城鎮應當快樂。你們當周遊錫安，四圍環繞，數點城樓，細看它的城郭，察看它的宮殿，為要傳揚給後代。

他們必說：『這荒蕪之地，現在成了像伊甸園一樣；這荒涼、荒廢、毀壞的城鎮，現今堅固，有人居住。』那時，在你們四圍其餘的列國必知道，我－耶和華修造那毀壞之處，開墾那荒蕪之地。我－耶和華說了這話，就必成就。

你必起來憐憫錫安；因現在是可憐它的時候，因所定的日期已經到了。

耶和華如此說：「你們論這地方，說是荒廢、無人、無牲畜之地，但在這荒涼、無人、無居民、無牲畜的猶大城鎮和耶路撒冷街上，必再聽見歡喜和快樂的聲音、新郎和新娘的聲音，並聽見有人說：你們要稱謝萬軍之耶和華，因耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！他們奉感謝祭到耶和華的殿中；因為我必使這地被擄的人歸回，如起初一樣。這是耶和華說的。」

當如何回答外邦的使者呢？「耶和華建立了錫安，在其中他困苦的百姓必有倚靠。」

但在錫安山必有逃脫的人，那山必成為聖；雅各家必得原有的產業。

因為耶和華建造了錫安，在他的榮耀裏顯現。

耶路撒冷啊，要頌讚耶和華！錫安哪，要讚美你的上帝！因為他堅固了你的門閂，賜福給你中間的兒女。

我又觀看，看見羔羊站在錫安山，和他在一起的有十四萬四千人，都有他的名和他父親的名寫在額上。
