I am oppressed and suffering! O God, deliver and protect me!

但我是困苦忧伤的；神啊，愿你的救恩将我安置在高处。

我困苦憂傷、上帝歟、願爾拯救、置我於高處兮、

予貧乏殷憂、上帝拯予、俾復振興兮、

我苦且憂、求天主施救、使我安居高處、

願主除彼於生籍兮。勿廁之於義者之場。

But as for me, afflicted and in pain— may your salvation, God, protect me.

I’m in pain. I’m in deep trouble. God, save me and keep me safe.

But I am afflicted and in pain; let your salvation, O God, set me on high!

I am suffering and in pain. Rescue me, O God, by your saving power.

But as for me— poor and in pain— let your salvation protect me, God.

I am oppressed and needy! May the Lord pay attention to me! You are my helper and my deliverer! O my God, do not delay!

The LORD says,“ Because he is devoted to me, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he is loyal to me.When he calls out to me, I will answer him. I will be with him when he is in trouble; I will rescue him and bring him honor.I will satisfy him with long life, and will let him see my salvation.

I am oppressed and needy! O God, hurry to me! You are my helper and my deliverer! O LORD, do not delay!

May the LORD answer you when you are in trouble; may the God of Jacob make you secure!

For I am oppressed and needy, and my heart beats violently within me.

He delivers me from my enemies; you snatch me away from those who attack me; you rescue me from violent men.

Deliver me from my enemies, my God! Protect me from those who attack me!

because he stands at the right hand of the needy, to deliver him from those who threaten his life.

Let all the people of the earth acknowledge the LORD and turn to him! Let all the nations worship you!For the LORD is king and rules over the nations.All of the thriving people of the earth will join the celebration and worship; all those who are descending into the grave will bow before him, including those who cannot preserve their lives.A whole generation will serve him; they will tell the next generation about the sovereign Lord.They will come and tell about his saving deeds; they will tell a future generation what he has accomplished.

He will call out to me,‘ You are my father, my God, and the protector who delivers me.’I will appoint him to be my firstborn son, the most exalted of the earth’s kings.

Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have dens, and the birds in the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

As a result God exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow– in heaven and on earth and under the earth–and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

He sprouted up like a twig before God, like a root out of parched soil; he had no stately form or majesty that might catch our attention, no special appearance that we should want to follow him.He was despised and rejected by people, one who experienced pain and was acquainted with illness; people hid their faces from him; he was despised, and we considered him insignificant.

far above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was rich, he became poor for your sakes, so that you by his poverty could become rich.
