神哪，你降下豐沛的大雨；當你的繼業疲倦時，是你堅立了他！

亢陽久而厥土熯兮、上帝沛降甘霖、因而優渥兮、

天主歟、主曾降甘雨、滋潤主之地、其疲乏時、主使之復蘇、

天地震搖。西乃惶惶。沛然降雨。以潤焦土。

You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance.

God, you gave us plenty of rain. You renewed your worn- out land.

Rain in abundance, O God, you shed abroad; you restored your inheritance as it languished;

You sent abundant rain, O God, to refresh the weary land.

You, God, showered abundant rain; you revived your inheritance when it languished.

You made plentiful rain fall, God; You confirmed Your inheritance when it was parched.

You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance, When it was weary.

You, God, showered abundant rain; You revived Your inheritance when it languished.

O God, you cause abundant showers to fall on your chosen people. When they are tired, you sustain them,

And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.Man did eat angels’ food: he sent them meat to the full.He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:

That I will give[ you] the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God,[ which] is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.They drop[ upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it,[ is] not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst[ it] with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:But the land, whither ye go to possess it,[ is] a land of hills and valleys,[ and] drinketh water of the rain of heaven:A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God[ are] always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
