西奈山全都冒煙，因為永恆主在火中降臨山上；山的煙往上冒，就像燒窰的煙一般：整個的山震顫得極厲害。

到了第三天、早晨的時候，在山上有雷轟、閃電和濃雲；號角聲強大的很，營裏人民盡都顫抖。

『永恆主啊，你從西珥出發時，你由以東鄉間行進時，地震動，天搖盪，密雲點滴水來。山一見永恆主的面、就震撼，一見西乃山的上帝永恆主、以色列上帝的面、就搖動。

你們聽見有聲音從黑暗中發出、那時山上有火燒着，你們就走近我來，你們族派中所有的首領和你們的長老都來，說：「看哪，永恆主我們的上帝將他的榮光和他的至大向我們顯現，我們又聽見他的聲音從火中發出；今日我們居然見上帝和人說話，而人還活着。現在這大火將要燒滅我們，我們又何必冒死呢？我們若再聽見永恆主我們的上帝的聲音，就會死的。

你的雷聲在旋風中；電閃照亮世界；大地戰抖震動。

你行了可畏懼的事、乃我們所不能逆料的，那時你下來，諸山在你面前震撼着。

我必將暗中的財寶和隱密處的寶藏賜給你，使你知道是我永恆主、以色列之上帝、呼喚你的名召了你。

上帝在他的聖所是可畏懼的；以色列之上帝乃是他，是他將力量權能賜給他人民的。上帝是應當受祝頌的。

於是那在天上的上帝殿堂就開了；他的約櫃在他的殿堂中看得清清楚楚。隨即有閃電、響聲、雷轟、地震和大雹。

哦，巴不得你裂天而下哦！巴不得諸山在你面前震撼！

你出來要拯救你的人民，拯救你所膏立的。你擊毁了惡人的房頂，暴露了其根基、直到石頭。（細拉）

永恆主以色列之上帝當受祝頌、從亙古直到永遠。阿們，阿們。

大地啊，你在主面前要打滾；在雅各的上帝面前要舞蹈。

他的聲音當時搖動了地，如今卻有話應許說：『還有一次，我不單要震動地，還要震動天』。
