主昔導民。經彼遐荒。

西奈全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降於山上。山的煙氣上騰，如燒窰一般，遍山大大地震動。

到了第三天早晨，在山上有雷轟、閃電，和密雲，並且角聲甚大，營中的百姓盡都發顫。

耶和華啊，你從西珥出來，由以東地行走。那時地震天漏，雲也落雨。山見耶和華的面就震動，西奈山見耶和華－以色列神的面也是如此。

「那時，火焰燒山，你們聽見從黑暗中出來的聲音；你們支派中所有的首領和長老都來就近我，說：『看哪，耶和華－我們神將他的榮光和他的大能顯給我們看，我們又聽見他的聲音從火中出來。今日我們得見神與人說話，人還存活。現在這大火將要燒滅我們，我們何必冒死呢？若再聽見耶和華－我們神的聲音就必死亡。

你的雷聲在旋風中；電光照亮世界；大地戰抖震動。

你曾行我們不能逆料可畏的事。那時你降臨，山嶺在你面前震動。

我要將暗中的寶物和隱密的財寶賜給你，使你知道提名召你的，就是我－耶和華、以色列的神。

神啊，你從聖所顯為可畏；以色列的神是那將力量權能賜給他百姓的。神是應當稱頌的！

當時，神天上的殿開了，在他殿中現出他的約櫃。隨後有閃電、聲音、雷轟、地震、大雹。

願你裂天而降；願山在你面前震動－

你出來要拯救你的百姓，拯救你的受膏者，打破惡人家長的頭，露出他的腳，直到頸項。（細拉）

耶和華－以色列的神是應當稱頌的，從亙古直到永遠。阿們！阿們！

大地啊，你因見主的面，就是雅各神的面，便要震動。

當時他的聲音震動了地，但如今他應許說：「再一次我不單要震動地，還要震動天。」
