其實你已經看見，你顧念人的禍患和煩惱，把它們放在你的手中。無助之人把自己交託給你，你一向是孤兒的幫助者。

耶和華保護寄居者，扶助孤兒和寡婦，卻使惡人的道路彎曲。

你們當為貧弱者和孤兒伸冤，為困苦人和貧窮人施行公義；當挽救貧弱者和貧窮人，解救他們脫離惡人的手！

你的首領們悖逆，與盜賊同夥；他們都貪愛賄賂，追逐贓酬；他們不為孤兒伸冤；寡婦的爭訟也達不到他們面前。

耶和華如此說：「天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳。你們要為我建造的殿宇在哪裡呢？我安歇的地方在哪裡呢？」

那至高至尊、永遠長存、名為至聖者的如此說：「我住在至高至聖的地方，也與靈裡痛悔的人和謙卑的人同在，使謙卑的人靈裡復甦，使痛悔的人心裡復甦。

他說：「某城裡有一個審判官，他既不敬畏神，也不尊重人。那城裡有一個寡婦，經常到他那裡去，說：『請為我向我的對頭討個公道。』「法官一直不肯，但是後來心裡說：『即使我不敬畏神，也不尊重人，還是因為這寡婦不斷地煩擾我，我就為她討個公道，免得她一直來，到最後使我疲憊不堪！』」主接著說：「你們當聽這個不公義的審判官所說的！難道神絕不會給那些他所揀選、日夜向他呼求的人主持公道嗎？難道神會耽誤幫助他們嗎？

願他為子民中的困苦人施行審判，拯救貧窮人的兒女，壓碎那欺壓者。

要為孤兒和被壓迫的人伸冤，使地上的人絕不再恐嚇他們。

願他以公義審斷你的子民，以公正審斷屬你的困苦人；

他從自己所坐的地方，察看地上所有的居民。

所以，做為蒙愛的兒女，你們要效法神；

其實至高者並不住在人手所造的殿宇裡，正如先知所說：『主說：「天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳。你們要為我建造什麼樣的殿宇呢？我安息的地方在哪裡呢？
