即駕行太古天上之天者、彼發厥聲、其聲甚巨兮、

上帝乘雲、永世靡暨、乃發雷霆、其聲震轟兮、

天主乘駕穹蒼、永世無窮、發大雷霆、聲音宏震、

咨爾萬邦。歌功誦德。

to him who rides across the highest heavens, the ancient heavens, who thunders with mighty voice.

He rides across the highest places in heaven. He rides across the ancient skies above. He thunders with his mighty voice.

to him who rides in the heavens, the ancient heavens; behold, he sends out his voice, his mighty voice.

to him who rides in the ancient, highest heavens. Look, he thunders with his powerful voice!

To Him who rides upon the highest heavens, which are from ancient times; Behold, He speaks with His voice, a mighty voice.

To Him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which were of old! Indeed, He sends out His voice, a mighty voice.

To him that rideth upon the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.

to Him who rides in the ancient, highest heavens. Look, He thunders with His powerful voice!

Mounted on a mighty angelic being, he flew, soaring on the wings of the wind.

you lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds. You make the clouds your chariot; you ride upon the wings of the wind.

Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven:“ The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”

The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! God’s voice thunders, and the earth melts!

The moving wings of the cherubim sounded like the voice of God Almighty and could be heard even in the outer courtyard.

Then, in heaven, the Temple of God was opened and the Ark of his covenant could be seen inside the Temple. Lightning flashed, thunder crashed and roared, and there was an earthquake and a terrible hailstorm.

“ But will God really live on earth? Why, even the highest heavens cannot contain you. How much less this Temple I have built!

The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the mighty sea.The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.The voice of the Lord splits the mighty cedars; the Lord shatters the cedars of Lebanon.He makes Lebanon’s mountains skip like a calf; he makes Mount Hermon leap like a young wild ox.The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning.The voice of the Lord makes the barren wilderness quake; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare. In his Temple everyone shouts,“ Glory!”

Your throne, O Lord, has stood from time immemorial. You yourself are from the everlasting past.

Then a loud voice from heaven called to the two prophets,“ Come up here!” And they rose to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched.

The clouds poured down rain; the thunder rumbled in the sky. Your arrows of lightning flashed.Your thunder roared from the whirlwind; the lightning lit up the world! The earth trembled and shook.

Father, bring glory to your name.” Then a voice spoke from heaven, saying,“ I have already brought glory to my name, and I will do so again.”When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him.

Sing praises to God and to his name! Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord— rejoice in his presence!

“ Look, the highest heavens and the earth and everything in it all belong to the Lord your God.

“ There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor.
