神必然击碎他仇敌的头，就是那行在罪中之人的头颅。

上帝必擊破敵首、恆干罪者之髮顚兮、

上帝傷敵之首、恆行惡者、必喪其元兮、

天主必傷仇敵之首、常行惡事者、天主必傷其髮頂、

釋我重負。扶我於墜。解我倒懸。脫我於死。

Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.

God will certainly smash the heads of his enemies. He will break the hairy heads of those who keep on sinning.

But God will strike the heads of his enemies, the hairy crown of him who walks in his guilty ways.

Surely God crushes the heads of his enemies, the hairy brow of one who goes on in his guilty acts.

God certainly will shatter the heads of His enemies, The hairy head of one who goes about in his guilt.

But God will wound the head of His enemies, The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on in His trespasses.

But God will smite through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as goeth on still in his guiltiness.

Surely God crushes the heads of His enemies, the hairy head of one who goes on in his guilty acts.

But God shall wound the head of his enemies,[ and] the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

Indeed God strikes the heads of his enemies, the hairy foreheads of those who persist in rebellion.

But God will strike through the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of such a one as still continues in his guiltiness.

You went out to rescue your chosen people, to save your anointed ones. You crushed the heads of the wicked and stripped their bones from head to toe.

No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”

He will punish the nations and fill their lands with corpses; he will shatter heads over the whole earth.

If a person does not repent, God will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow.

And if wicked people turn from their wickedness, obey the law, and do what is just and right, they will save their lives.They will live because they thought it over and decided to turn from their sins. Such people will not die.And yet the people of Israel keep saying,‘ The Lord isn’t doing what’s right!’ O people of Israel, it is you who are not doing what’s right, not I.“ Therefore, I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord. Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you!

Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!

“ I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come. I reached out to you, but you paid no attention.You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered.So I will laugh when you are in trouble! I will mock you when disaster overtakes you—when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster engulfs you like a cyclone, and anguish and distress overwhelm you.“ When they cry for help, I will not answer. Though they anxiously search for me, they will not find me.For they hated knowledge and chose not to fear the Lord.They rejected my advice and paid no attention when I corrected them.Therefore, they must eat the bitter fruit of living their own way, choking on their own schemes.For simpletons turn away from me— to death. Fools are destroyed by their own complacency.But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.”

“ But I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sin.In a similar way, you have some Nicolaitans among you who follow the same teaching.Repent of your sin, or I will come to you suddenly and fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

But you, O God, will send the wicked down to the pit of destruction. Murderers and liars will die young, but I am trusting you to save me.

The owner then sent another servant, but they insulted him and beat him over the head.

So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.For the message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished.So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?

When you ascended to the heights, you led a crowd of captives. You received gifts from the people, even from those who rebelled against you. Now the Lord God will live among us there.
