Our God is a God who delivers; the LORD, the sovereign Lord, can rescue from death.

Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.

Our God is a God who saves. He is the King and the Lord. He saves us from death.

Our God is a God of salvation, and to God, the Lord, belong deliverances from death.

so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.”

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies,and the one who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Israel will be delivered once and for all by the LORD; you will never again be ashamed or humiliated.For this is what the LORD says, the one who created the sky– he is the true God, the one who formed the earth and made it; he established it, he did not create it without order, he formed it to be inhabited–“ I am the LORD, I have no peer.I have not spoken in secret, in some hidden place. I did not tell Jacob’s descendants,‘ Seek me in vain!’ I am the LORD, the one who speaks honestly, who makes reliable announcements.Gather together and come! Approach together, you refugees from the nations! Those who carry wooden idols know nothing, those who pray to a god that cannot deliver.Tell me! Present the evidence! Let them consult with one another! Who predicted this in the past? Who announced it beforehand? Was it not I, the LORD? I have no peer, there is no God but me, a God who vindicates and delivers; there is none but me.Turn to me so you can be delivered, all you who live in the earth’s remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.

But I will have pity on the nation of Judah. I will deliver them by the LORD their God; I will not deliver them by the warrior’s bow, by sword, by military victory, by chariot horses, or by chariots.”

You people worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because salvation is from the Jews.

when you deliver my life from death. You keep my feet from stumbling, so that I might serve God as I enjoy life.

Guard your heart with all vigilance, for from it are the sources of life.

I will not die, but live, and I will proclaim what the LORD has done.The LORD severely punished me, but he did not hand me over to death.

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, he likewise shared in their humanity, so that through death he could destroy the one who holds the power of death( that is, the devil),and set free those who were held in slavery all their lives by their fear of death.
