But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;

because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.”

I said,“ You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

May it be far from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn’t the Judge of all the earth do right?”

Rejoice, you nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants. He will take vengeance on his adversaries, and will make atonement for his land and for his people.

For it is written,“ Rejoice, you barren who don’t bear. Break out and shout, you who don’t travail. For the desolate have more children than her who has a husband.”

He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness.

Sing to Yahweh a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the islands and their inhabitants.Let the wilderness and its cities raise their voices, with the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains!Let them give glory to Yahweh, and declare his praise in the islands.

“ Sing, barren, you who didn’t give birth; break out into singing, and cry aloud, you who didn’t travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife,” says Yahweh.

These shall lift up their voice. They will shout for the majesty of Yahweh. They cry aloud from the sea.Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east, even the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea!From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs. Glory to the righteous! But I said,“ I pine away! I pine away! woe is me!” The treacherous have dealt treacherously. Yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.

Again he says,“ Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”Again,“ Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Let all the peoples praise him.”

Say among the nations,“ Yahweh reigns.” The world is also established. It can’t be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity.Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and its fullness!Let the field and all that is in it exult! Then all the trees of the woods shall sing for joybefore Yahweh; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.Yahweh reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!

The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”The twenty- four elders, who sit on their thrones before God’s throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,saying:“ We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power and reigned.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.

All the kings of the earth will give you thanks, Yahweh, for they have heard the words of your mouth.Yes, they will sing of the ways of Yahweh, for Yahweh’s glory is great!
