Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

“ Rejoice with him, O heavens; bow down to him, all gods, for he avenges the blood of his children and takes vengeance on his adversaries. He repays those who hate him and cleanses his people’s land.”

For it is written,“ Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear; break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than those of the one who has a husband.”

and he judges the world with righteousness; he judges the peoples with uprightness.

Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants.Let the desert and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the habitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the top of the mountains.Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastlands.

“ Sing, O barren one, who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than the children of her who is married,” says the Lord.

They lift up their voices, they sing for joy; over the majesty of the Lord they shout from the west.Therefore in the east give glory to the Lord; in the coastlands of the sea, give glory to the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.From the ends of the earth we hear songs of praise, of glory to the Righteous One. Say among the nations,“ The Lord reigns! Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.”Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it;let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joybefore the Lord, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,saying,“ We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign.

Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples.

All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O Lord, for they have heard the words of your mouth,and they shall sing of the ways of the Lord, for great is the glory of the Lord.
