You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, honor him! All you descendants of Israel, revere him!For he has not despised or abhorred the torment of the oppressed. He did not hide his face from him but listened when he cried to him for help.

I will boast in the LORD; the humble will hear and be glad.

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not conceal my iniquity. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. SelahTherefore let everyone who is faithful pray to you immediately. When great floodwaters come, they will not reach him.
