居地極之人、皆因主之異跡敬畏主、使日出之處、日入之所、人皆歡呼、

狂濤靜以恬。萬邦皆穆穆。

The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.

Everyone on earth is amazed at the wonderful things you have done. What you do makes people from one end of the earth to the other sing for joy.

so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.

Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.

Those who live far away are awed by your signs; you make east and west shout for joy.

They who dwell at the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs; You make the sunrise and the sunset shout for joy.

They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs; You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice.

Those who live far away are awed by Your signs; You make east and west shout for joy.

Even those living in the most remote areas are awestruck by your acts; you cause those living in the east and west to praise you.

They also who dwell in faraway places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning’s dawn and the evening with songs of joy.

Ask of me, and I shall give[ thee] the heathen[ for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth[ for] thy possession.

The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

The people shall hear,[ and] be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be[ as] still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over,[ which] thou hast purchased.

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

The day[ is] thine, the night also[ is] thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.The mountains saw thee,[ and] they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice,[ and] lifted up his hands on high.The sun[ and] moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went,[ and] at the shining of thy glittering spear.Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people,[ even] for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing[ was] as to devour the poor secretly.Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses,[ through] the heap of great waters.When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither[ shall] fruit[ be] in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and[ there shall be] no herd in the stalls:Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.The LORD God[ is] my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’[ feet], and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars,[ even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

Say unto God, How terrible[ art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

[ Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that[ were] on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.And as soon as we had heard[ these things], our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he[ is] God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

They saw[ it, and] so they marvelled; they were troubled,[ and] hasted away.Fear took hold upon them there,[ and] pain, as of a woman in travail.

Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep[ forth].The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days;[ and] caused the dayspring to know his place;

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.

The sun to rule by day: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:

Which[ is] as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,[ and] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
