When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.

On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.

As I lie on my bed I remember you. I think of you all night long.

when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night;

whenever I remember you on my bed, and think about you during the nighttime hours.

The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God of my life.

I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word.My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.

I remember Your name in the night, O Lord, And I keep Your law.

THE SHULAMITE: I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying,“ Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.”

THE SHULAMITE: By night on my bed I sought the one I love; I sought him, but I did not find him.“ I will rise now,” I said,“ And go about the city; In the streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love.” I sought him, but I did not find him.

You hold my eyelids open; I am so troubled that I cannot speak.I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, And my spirit makes diligent search.

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

“ Arise, cry out in the night, At the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him For the life of your young children, Who faint from hunger at the head of every street.”
