你要敬畏的、是永恆主你的上帝；你要事奉的乃是他；你指着來起誓的必須是他的名。

故此那在地上給自己祝福的、必憑着真誠可靠的上帝來自己祝福；那在地上起誓的、必指着真誠可靠的上帝來起誓；因為先前的患難已被忘記了，已從我眼前隱藏掉了。

我指着自己來起誓：話語從我口中帶着義氣而出，並不返回：「眾膝都必向我屈跪，眾舌頭都必指着我來起誓。」

永恆主啊，王因你的力量而歡喜；因你賜的得勝、而非常快樂

我們曉得、律法無論說甚麼，都是向律法以內的人講的，好堵住每一個人的口，使全世界的人都伏在上帝審判之下；

剪除那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的，剪除那些敬拜永恆主，指着永恆主來起誓、竟又指着米勒公來起誓的，

那逞驕傲輕慢之氣傲慢然說話攻擊義人的、願他們虛假的嘴脣被綁為啞口。

上帝在應許亞伯拉罕的時候，因沒有比自己更大的可以指着來起誓，就指着自己來起誓

『我，我已立我的君王於錫安、我的聖山上。』

有許多不服約束、好談虛妄事、欺騙人的人，尤其是那些受過割禮的人，你應該勒住他們的口。這種人為了可恥之利、教授所不該教授的，傾覆了人的全家。

這樣、貧寒人就有了希望，蠻橫強暴必塞住自己的口。

看吧，如今我準知道你一定作王；以色列國度必在你手裏堅立起來。

正直人看見、就歡喜；蠻橫強暴必塞住它自己的口。

對他說：『你不要懼怕！我父掃羅的手必找不着你；你必作王管理以色列，我必在你以下居第二位；這事連我父親掃羅都知道了。』

當那日子、埃及地必有五個城說迦南的方言，並指着萬軍之永恆主來起誓；必有一座城要稱為毁滅之城。
