刀兵當不免。體為豺狼食。

But the king will rejoice in God; all who swear by God will glory in him, while the mouths of liars will be silenced.

你要敬畏耶和华你的神，要事奉他，奉他的名起誓。

所以，在地上为自己求福的，必凭着真实的神求福；在地上起誓的，必凭着真实的神起誓。因为先前的患难都已经被人忘记了，也从我的眼前隐藏了。

我指着自己起誓，我的口凭着公义说出的话，决不改变：‘万膝都必向我跪拜，万口都要指着我起誓。’

耶和华啊！王因你的力量快乐，因你的救恩大大欢呼。

然而我们晓得，凡律法所说的，都是对在律法之下的人说的，好让每一个人都没有话可讲，使全世界的人都伏在神的审判之下。

就是那些在房顶上敬拜天上万象的，那些敬拜耶和华，指着他起誓，又指着玛勒公起誓的，

那些逞骄傲，态度轻慢，说话狂傲攻击义人的，愿他们说谎的嘴唇哑而无声。

神应许亚伯拉罕的时候，因为没有比自己更大的可以指着起誓，他就指着自己起誓，

“我已经在锡安我的圣山上，立了我的君王。”

因为有许多不受约束、好讲空话和欺骗人的，尤其是那些守割礼的人，他们为了可耻的利益，教训一些不应该教导的事，败坏人的全家，你务要堵住他们的嘴。

这样，贫穷人有指望，不义的人却闭口无言。

现在我知道你必要作王，以色列的王国必在你手里坚立起来。

正直的人看见了，就欢喜；但所有邪恶的人都必闭口无言。

对他说：“你不要惧怕！我父亲扫罗的手必不能害你。你必要作以色列的王，我要在你以下位居第二，这事连我父亲扫罗也知道了。”

到那日，埃及地必有五座城的人说迦南的方言，又指着万军之耶和华起誓，必有一座城称为“毁灭城”（“毁灭城”或译：“太阳城”）。
