要敬畏你们的上帝耶和华，事奉祂，凭祂的名起誓。

因此，在地上求福祉的人都必向信实的上帝祈求，在地上起誓的人都必凭信实的上帝起誓。因为过去的苦难已经被遗忘，从我眼前消失了。

我凭自己起誓，我口中的话真实可靠，绝不更改，‘万膝必向我跪拜，万口必起誓效忠于我。’

耶和华啊，君王因你的能力而欢欣，因你的拯救而雀跃。

我们知道律法所讲的都是针对律法之下的人，好叫所有的人都无话可说，使全世界都伏在上帝的审判之下。

我必铲除那些在屋顶祭拜天上万象的人，铲除敬拜我、凭我起誓又凭米勒公起誓的人，

愿你堵住撒谎之人的口，他们骄傲自大，狂妄地攻击义人。

当初，上帝向亚伯拉罕许下诺言的时候，因为没有比自己更大的可以凭着起誓，就凭自己起誓说：

祂说：“在我的锡安圣山上，我已立了我的君王。”

因为有许多悖逆之人喜欢空谈，善于欺骗，尤其是那些奉行割礼的人。你一定要堵住他们的口，因为他们为了不义之财教不该教的，误导了别人全家。

好使贫寒之人有盼望，使不义之徒哑口无言。

我知道你必做王，以色列国必在你手中得到坚固。

正直人看见就欢喜，邪恶人都哑口无言。

他对大卫说：“不要害怕，我父亲害不了你。你将做以色列的王，我将做你的宰相。我父亲也明白这一点。”

到那日，埃及必有五座城的人讲迦南的语言，并信奉万军之耶和华，其中有一座必叫灭亡城。
