Day after day Saul searched for him, but God did not give David into his hands.While David was at Horesh in the Desert of Ziph, he learned that Saul had come out to take his life.And Saul’s son Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him find strength in God. But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty, (niv)

Each one will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land. (niv)

Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you— if you find my beloved, what will you tell him? Tell him I am faint with love. (niv)

I will wait at the fords in the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me.” (niv)
