And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him,[ who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God.

And the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah,[ which is] before Jeshimon?Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph.And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which[ is] before Jeshimon, by the way. But David abode in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.

I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

I will go[ and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men[ were] in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.Saul also and his men went to seek[ him]. And they told David: wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard[ that], he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.

By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.The watchmen that go about the city found me:[ to whom I said], Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

But this[ shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and[ to] my God, and your God.

In the last day, that great[ day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay,[ shall be] grass with reeds and rushes.

And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore[ is] this[ that] thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David[ was] in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.

If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I[ am] sick of love.

See, I will tarry in the plain of the wilderness, until there come word from you to certify me.
