世間人無論尊卑、皆屬虛妄、若置之權衡、必然浮起、悉輕於虛空、悉輕於虛空或作比呼吸之氣尤輕

吾民其恃主。向主披肺腑。雖在危厄終必安。主是吾人停泊所。

Surely the lowborn are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie. If weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath.

Surely ordinary people are only a breath. Important people are not what they seem to be. If they were weighed on a scale, they wouldn’t amount to anything. Together they are only a breath.

Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.

Common people are as worthless as a puff of wind, and the powerful are not what they appear to be. If you weigh them on the scales, together they are lighter than a breath of air.

Common people are only a vapor; important people, an illusion. Together on a scale, they weigh less than a vapor.

People of low standing are only breath, and people of rank are a lie; In the balances they go up. Together they are lighter than breath.

Surely men of low degree are a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter than vapor.

Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: In the balances they will go up; They are together lighter than vanity.

Men are only a vapor; exalted men, an illusion. Weighed in the scales, they go up; together they are less than a vapor.

Surely men of low degree[ are] vanity,[ and] men of high degree[ are] a lie: to be laid in the balance, they[ are] altogether[ lighter] than vanity.

Men are nothing but a mere breath; human beings are unreliable. When they are weighed in the scales, all of them together are lighter than air.

Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.

你使我的日子窄如手掌，我的一生在你面前如同无有；各人站得最稳的时候，也只不过是一口气。（细拉）

看哪！万国都像水桶里的一滴，又被看作天平上的微尘。看哪！他举起众海岛，好像微细之物。

万国在他跟前好像不存在，在他看来，只是乌有和虚空。

投靠耶和华，胜过倚靠王子。

你因人的罪孽，藉着责罚管教他们，叫他们所宝贵的消失，像被虫蛀蚀；世人都不过是一口气。（细拉）

大卫又说：“基伊拉人会把我和跟随我的人交在扫罗手里吗？”耶和华说：“他们必把你们交出来。”

心里想：“我要把米甲给大卫，利用米甲作他的陷阱，好让非利士人的手害他。”于是扫罗对大卫说：“你今天可以第二次作我的女婿。”扫罗吩咐他的臣仆：“你们要私下对大卫说：‘王喜欢你，他的臣仆也都爱你，现在你要作王的女婿！’”于是扫罗的臣仆把这些话说给大卫听。大卫说：“你们以为作王的女婿是一件小事吗？我是个贫穷卑微的人。”扫罗的臣仆把大卫所说的这些话都报告了扫罗。扫罗说：“你们要对大卫这样说：‘王不要什么聘礼，只要一百个非利士人的包皮，好在王的仇敌身上报仇。’”扫罗企图使大卫死在非利士人的手里。扫罗的臣仆把这些话告诉了大卫，大卫就乐意作王的女婿。在日期未满之时，

西弗人上到基比亚去见扫罗，说：“大卫不是在我们这里的何列斯的山寨，就是在旷野南边的哈基拉山上藏着吗？王啊，现在请下来，请你随着你的心愿下来，我们必亲自把他交在王的手里。”

有人告诉大卫说：“亚希多弗也在押沙龙的叛党之中。”大卫祷告说：“耶和华啊，求你使亚希多弗的计谋变为愚拙。”

绝不可能！神总是诚实的，人却是虚谎的，正如经上所记：“你在话语上，显为公义；你被论断时，必然得胜。”

所有来到王面前请求审决的以色列人，押沙龙都是这样对待他们。因此，押沙龙暗中迷惑了以色列人的心。

我在惊惶之中曾说：“人都是说谎的。”

扫罗无论差派大卫到哪里去，他都去，并且凡事亨通。于是扫罗立他作军兵的将领。所有的人民和扫罗的臣仆都非常高兴。

扫罗说：“我有罪了，我儿大卫啊，你回来吧！因为今天你看我的命为宝贵，我必不再害你。看哪！我作了糊涂事了，并且错得很厉害。”大卫回答说：“看哪！王的矛在这里，可以叫一个仆人过来拿去。耶和华必按着各人的公义和信实报答他；今天耶和华把你交在我手里，我却不愿伸手伤害耶和华的受膏者。看哪，我今天怎样看重你的命，愿耶和华也怎样看重我的命，并且救我脱离一切患难。”扫罗对大卫说：“我儿大卫啊，愿你得福，你必作成你所要作的，也必得胜。”于是大卫离去了，扫罗也回自己的地方去了。

他们就喊叫起来：“除掉他！除掉他！把他钉十字架！”彼拉多问他们：“我可以把你们的王钉十字架吗？”祭司长回答：“除了凯撒，我们没有王！”

妇女们跳舞、歌唱，说：“扫罗杀死千千！大卫杀死万万！”

前呼后拥的群众喊叫着：“‘和散那’归于大卫的子孙，奉主名来的是应当称颂的，高天之上当唱‘和散那’。”

但你是和我同等地位的人，是我的良友，我的知己。我们常在一起密谈，我们在神的殿中与群众同行。

‘提客勒’就是你被称在天平上，显出你的缺欠；
