It is surely true that I find my rest in God. He is the God who saves me.

For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.

I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.

I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.

My soul waits in silence for God alone; From Him comes my salvation.

Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.

My soul waiteth in silence for God only: From him cometh my salvation.

I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him[ cometh] my salvation.

For God alone I patiently wait; he is the one who delivers me.

We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy.

For my eyes have seen your salvation,which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come?

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.

I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble.

Surely the idolatrous commotion on the hills and mountains is a deception; surely in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.

Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled.

David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals. Here is the list of the men who performed this service:

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.

Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

As for Jeduthun, from his sons: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah and Mattithiah, six in all, under the supervision of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied, using the harp in thanking and praising the Lord.

With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of those chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the Lord,“ for his love endures forever.”Heman and Jeduthun were responsible for the sounding of the trumpets and cymbals and for the playing of the other instruments for sacred song. The sons of Jeduthun were stationed at the gate.
