Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.

It is surely true that I find my rest in God. He is the God who saves me.

For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.

I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.

I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.

My soul waits in silence for God alone; From Him comes my salvation.

Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.

My soul waiteth in silence for God only: From him cometh my salvation.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him[ cometh] my salvation.

For God alone I patiently wait; he is the one who delivers me.

My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.

He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will never be shaken.

We wait for Yahweh; He is our help and shield.

Therefore, brothers, be patient until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth and is patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains.

Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for Him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the man who carries out evil plans.

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.

Like a servant’s eyes on his master’s hand, like a servant girl’s eyes on her mistress’s hand, so our eyes are on the Lord our God until He shows us favor.

For my eyes have seen Your salvation.You have prepared it in the presence of all peoples—a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to Your people Israel.

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?

but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.

I waited patiently for the Lord, and He turned to me and heard my cry for help.

I wait for Yahweh; I wait and put my hope in His word.I wait for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning— more than watchmen for the morning.

Therefore the Lord is waiting to show you mercy, and is rising up to show you compassion, for the Lord is a just God. All who wait patiently for Him are happy.

Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust Him and not be afraid, for Yah, the Lord, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation.”

The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord, their refuge in a time of distress.

Surely, falsehood comes from the hills, commotion from the mountains, but the salvation of Israel is only in the Lord our God.

Praise is rightfully Yours, God, in Zion; vows to You will be fulfilled.

David and the officers of the army also set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, who were to prophesy accompanied by lyres, harps, and cymbals. This is the list of the men who performed their service:

Rest in God alone, my soul, for my hope comes from Him.He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will not be shaken.

May the Lord be praised! Day after day He bears our burdens; God is our salvation. SelahOur God is a God of salvation, and escape from death belongs to the Lord God.

Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long.

From Jeduthun: Jeduthun’s sons: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah— six— under the authority of their father Jeduthun, prophesying to the accompaniment of lyres, giving thanks and praise to the Lord.

I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, and He will hear me.

Wait for the Lord; be strong and courageous. Wait for the Lord.

I said,“ I will guard my ways so that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle as long as the wicked are in my presence.”

With them were Heman, Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the Lord— for His faithful love endures forever.Heman and Jeduthun had with them trumpets and cymbals to play and musical instruments of God. Jeduthun’s sons were at the gate.
