God has spoken from his sanctuary:“ In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.

God has spoken from his temple. He has said,“ I will win the battle. Then I will divide up the land around Shechem. I will divide up the Valley of Sukkoth.

God has spoken in his holiness:“ With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Vale of Succoth.

God has promised this by his holiness:“ I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth.

Who hath led me unto Edom?Hast not thou cast us off, O God? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.Give us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man.Through God we shall do valiantly: For he it is that will tread down our adversaries.

And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.

Concerning the prophets. My heart within me is broken, all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of Jehovah, and because of his holy words.
