But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner to be unfurled against the bow.

But you lead into battle those who have respect for you. You give them a flag to wave against the enemy’s weapons.

You have set up a banner for those who fear you, that they may flee to it from the bow. Selah

Then we will shout for joy over your victory; we will rejoice in the name of our God! May the LORD grant all your requests!

Moses built an altar, and he called it“ The LORD is my Banner,”

He brought me into the banquet hall, and he looked at me lovingly.

He will lift a signal flag for the nations; he will gather Israel’s dispersed people and assemble Judah’s scattered people from the four corners of the earth.

Appear in your majesty and be victorious! Ride forth for the sake of what is right, on behalf of justice! Then your right hand will accomplish mighty acts!

Justice is driven back; godliness stands far off. Indeed, honesty stumbles in the city square and morality is not even able to enter.Honesty has disappeared; the one who tries to avoid evil is robbed. The LORD watches and is displeased, for there is no justice.

This is what the sovereign LORD says:“ Look I will raise my hand to the nations; I will raise my signal flag to the peoples. They will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.

He lifts a signal flag for a distant nation, he whistles for it to come from the far regions of the earth. Look, they come quickly and swiftly.

On a bare hill raise a signal flag, shout to them, wave your hand, so they might enter the gates of the princes!

The LORD said,“ Go up and down through the streets of Jerusalem. Look around and see for yourselves. Search through its public squares. See if any of you can find a single person who deals honestly and tries to be truthful. If you can, then I will not punish this city.These people make promises in the name of the LORD. But the fact is, what they swear to is really a lie.”LORD, I know you look for faithfulness. But even when you punish these people, they feel no remorse. Even when you nearly destroy them, they refuse to be corrected. They have become as hardheaded as a rock. They refuse to change their ways.

In the west, people respect the LORD’s reputation; in the east they recognize his splendor. For he comes like a rushing stream driven on by wind sent from the LORD.

Deliver, LORD! For the godly have disappeared; people of integrity have vanished.People lie to one another; they flatter and deceive.
