我們要因你的勝利歡呼，因我們神的名高舉旗幟；願耶和華實現你所求的一切。

公平被迫後退，公義站在遠處；誠實在街上跌倒，正直不能進入。誠實缺乏，遠離惡事的人反成為掠物。耶和華看見了，就看這為惡事（“就看這為惡事”或譯：“很不喜悅”），因為一點公平也沒有。

主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必向列國舉手，我要向萬民豎立我的旗幟；他們要把你的兒子都抱在懷中帶來，把你的女兒都放在肩上背來。

他必豎立旗幟，招一國的人從遠方而來，發出哨聲把他們從地極召來；看！他們必急速快奔而來。

你要在光禿的山上豎起旗幟，向眾人揚聲揮手，叫他們進入權貴的門。

“你們去走遍耶路撒冷的街道，到處觀察留意，又在城的廣場上尋覓；如果能找到一個行正義、求誠實的人，我就赦免這城。城裡的人雖然指著永活的耶和華起誓，其實，他們起的誓是假的。”耶和華啊！你的眼目不是要看誠實的事嗎？你擊打他們，他們卻不覺得傷痛；你摧毀他們，他們仍不肯接受管教。他們板著臉，臉皮比磐石還硬，總不肯回轉。

這樣，人從日落之處必敬畏耶和華的名，從日出之地也必敬畏他的榮耀，因為他必像狹急的河流沖來，耶和華的氣必向他催逼。

耶和華啊！求你施行拯救，因為虔誠人沒有了，在世人中的信實人也不見了。他們彼此說謊，用諂媚的嘴唇說話，口是心非。
