Hast not thou, O God, cast us off? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.

神啊，你不是丟棄了我們嗎？神啊，你不和我們的軍兵同去嗎？

上帝啊，你真的丟棄了我們嗎？上帝啊，你不和我們的軍隊同去嗎？

神啊，你真的丟棄了我們嗎？神啊，你不和我們的軍隊同去嗎？

上帝啊，你拋棄了我們嗎？不再和我們的軍隊一同出戰了嗎？

神啊！你不是把我們丟棄了嗎？神啊！你不和我們的軍隊一同出戰嗎？

上帝啊，不是你把我們屏棄了麼？上帝啊，你不在我們軍隊中去出戰了！

神哪，你不會拋棄了我們吧？神哪，你不與我們的隊伍一同出征嗎？

上帝歟、爾非棄我乎、上帝歟、爾不與我軍偕出兮、

惟爾上帝、素棄我躬、惟爾上帝、今率予軍旅兮。

豈非天主乎、現今主竟棄絕我儕、不率我軍旅出徵、

摩瓦作盤。夷東置屩。菲莉之野。供我歡躍。

Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?

God, isn’t it you, even though you have now turned away from us? Isn’t it you, even though you don’t lead our armies into battle anymore?

Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go forth, O God, with our armies.

Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies?

God, haven’t you rejected us? God, you do not march out with our armies.

Have You Yourself not rejected us, God? And will You not go out with our armies, God?

Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?

God, haven’t You rejected us? God, You do not march out with our armies.

[ Wilt] not thou, O God,[ which] hadst cast us off? and[ thou], O God,[ which] didst not go out with our armies?

Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.

Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.

Hast not thou cast us off, O God? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.

Therefore the children of Israel cannot stand before their enemies; they turn their backs before their enemies, because they are become accursed: I will not be with you any more, except ye destroy the devoted thing from among you.

O God thou hast cast us off, thou hast broken us down; Thou hast been angry; oh restore us again.

And Jehovah said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.

And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What meaneth the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of Jehovah was come into the camp.And the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore.

And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because Jehovah, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.

And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man to his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.And the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.

Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.And the Philistines followed hard after Saul and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchi- shua, the sons of Saul.And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers overtook him; and he was distressed by reason of the archers.Then said Saul unto his armor- bearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor- bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell upon it.And when his armor- bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell upon his sword, and died.So Saul died, and his three sons; and all his house died together.And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa.And they stripped him, and took his head, and his armor, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry the tidings unto their idols, and to the people.And they put his armor in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the house of Dagon.And when all Jabesh- gilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,all the valiant men arose, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against Jehovah, because of the word of Jehovah, which he kept not; and also for that he asked counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire thereby,and inquired not of Jehovah: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will make mention of the name of Jehovah our God.

And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away and thou comfortest me.Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid: for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah did choose, he hath cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have mercy on them.

And I will wait for Jehovah, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

It is better to take refuge in Jehovah Than to put confidence in princes.All nations compassed me about: In the name of Jehovah I will cut them off.

Through thee will we push down our adversaries: Through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.For I will not trust in my bow, Neither shall my sword save me.But thou hast saved us from our adversaries, And hast put them to shame that hate us.In God have we made our boast all the day long, And we will give thanks unto thy name for ever.[ SelahBut now thou hast cast us off, and brought us to dishonor, And goest not forth with our hosts.

for Jehovah your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
