In my distress I called to the Lord, and He answered me.

However, God has listened; He has paid attention to the sound of my prayer.May God be praised! He has not turned away my prayer or turned His faithful love from me.

Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times to take it away from me.But He said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, catastrophes, persecutions, and in pressures, because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I cry aloud to the Lord, and He answers me from His holy mountain. Selah

I love the Lord because He has heard my appeal for mercy.Because He has turned His ear to me, I will call out to Him as long as I live.

On the day I called, You answered me; You increased strength within me.

I waited patiently for the Lord, and He turned to me and heard my cry for help.He brought me up from a desolate pit, out of the muddy clay, and set my feet on a rock, making my steps secure.

In my alarm I had said,“ I am cut off from Your sight.” But You heard the sound of my pleading when I cried to You for help.

I called to the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me and put me in a spacious place.

I called to the Lord in my distress, and He answered me. I cried out for help in the belly of Sheol; You heard my voice.

As my life was fading away, I remembered Yahweh. My prayer came to You, to Your holy temple.

He has delivered us from such a terrible death, and He will deliver us. We have put our hope in Him that He will deliver us againwhile you join in helping us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gift that came to us through the prayers of many.
