因為在死地沒有人記念你，在陰間有誰會稱謝你呢？

死亡中無記憶爾、陰府中誰稱謝爾、

墟墓間、孰能憶爾、幽冥中、誰克頌爾。

死後無人記憶主、在示阿勒、示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓誰能稱讚主、

祈主一顧盼。援手昭慈仁。

Among the dead no one proclaims your name. Who praises you from the grave?

Dead people can’t call out your name. How can they praise you when they are in the grave?

For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise?

For the dead do not remember you. Who can praise you from the grave?

For there is no remembrance of you in death; who can thank you in Sheol?

For there is no mention of You in death; In Sheol, who will praise You?

For in death there is no remembrance of You; In the grave who will give You thanks?

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks?

For in death[ there is] no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

For no one remembers you in the realm of death, In Sheol who gives you thanks?

For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks?

It is not the dead who praise the Lord, nor any of those descending into the silence of death.

Do You work wonders for the dead? Do departed spirits rise up to praise You? SelahWill Your faithful love be declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon?Will Your wonders be known in the darkness or Your righteousness in the land of oblivion?

Whatever your hands find to do, do with all your strength, because there is no work, planning, knowledge, or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

“ What gain is there in my death, if I go down to the Pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it proclaim Your truth?

We must do the works of Him who sent Me while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work.

I will not die, but I will live and proclaim what the Lord has done.

For Sheol cannot thank You; Death cannot praise You. Those who go down to the Pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.The living, only the living can thank You, as I do today; a father will make Your faithfulness known to children.
