Let them curse, but You bless; When they arise, let them be ashamed, But let Your servant rejoice.Let my accusers be clothed with shame, And let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle.

Yield now, let there be no injustice! Yes, concede, my righteousness still stands!

Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against You.

Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:

For when they say,“ Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
