May those be ashamed and humiliated together Who seek my life to destroy it; May those be turned back and dishonored Who delight in my hurt.May those be appalled because of their shame Who say to me,“ Aha, aha!”

A person often rebuked who becomes obstinate Will suddenly be broken beyond remedy.

The wicked will see it and be vexed, He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked will perish.

They will curse, but You bless; When they arise, they will be ashamed, But Your servant will be glad.May my accusers be clothed with dishonor, And may they cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.

May those be ashamed and altogether humiliated who rejoice at my distress; May those who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and dishonor.

Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.

How they are destroyed in a moment! They are utterly swept away by sudden terrors!

May those who are enemies of my soul be put to shame and consumed; May they be covered with disgrace and dishonor, who seek to injure me.

My tongue also will tell of Your righteousness all day long; For they are put to shame, for they are humiliated who seek my harm.

Arise, Lord, in Your anger; Raise Yourself against the rage of my enemies, And stir Yourself for me; You have ordered judgment.

Your hand will find all your enemies; Your right hand will find those who hate you.You will make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger; The Lord will swallow them up in His wrath, And fire will devour them.

Please turn away, let there be no injustice; Turn away, my righteousness is still in it.

Make them pay, God; Have them fall by their own schemes! Scatter them in the multitude of their wrongdoings, For they are rebellious against You.

Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying,

While they are saying,“ Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction will come upon them like labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
