莠言自口、譬諸利劍、自謂人不及知兮。

口出惡言、唇如利刃、自言何人聽聞、

群犬晚歸兮。舉狺狺而吠予。

See what they spew from their mouths— the words from their lips are sharp as swords, and they think,“ Who can hear us?”

Listen to what pours out of their mouths. The words from their lips are like swords. They think,“ Who can hear us?”

There they are, bellowing with their mouths with swords in their lips— for“ Who,” they think,“ will hear us?”

Listen to the filth that comes from their mouths; their words cut like swords.“ After all, who can hear us?” they sneer.

Look, they spew from their mouths— sharp words from their lips.“ For who,” they say,“ will hear?”

Behold, they gush forth with their mouths; Swords are in their lips, For, they say,“ Who hears?”

Indeed, they belch with their mouth; Swords are in their lips; For they say,“ Who hears?”

Behold, they belch out with their mouth; Swords are in their lips: For who, say they, doth hear?

Look, they spew from their mouths— sharp words from their lips.“ For who,” they say,“ will hear?”

Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords[ are] in their lips: for who,[ say they], doth hear?

Look, they hurl insults at me and openly threaten to kill me, for they say,“ Who hears?”

My soul is among lions. I lie among those who are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of fools gush out folly.

He says in his heart,“ God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”

They say,“ How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”

There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword, but the tongue of the wise heals.

They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.

“ Don’t consider what this people has spoken, saying,‘ Has Yahweh cast off the two families which he chose?’ Thus they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.”

You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

for they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.

His mouth was smooth as butter, but his heart was war. His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.

Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart,“ God won’t call me into account?”

The heart of the righteous weighs answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil.

They say,“ Yah will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?

“ Isn’t God in the heights of heaven? See the height of the stars, how high they are!You say,‘ What does God know? Can he judge through the thick darkness?

who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say,“ Who will see them?”
